Born and raised on a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific, Jason Fleming became interested in magic at age 8.  His first magic tricks came from the Cub Scout Handbook.  An unquenchable curiosity for more secrets led him to scour the public libraries for magic books.  He stumbled onto the published works of some of the masters of conjuring, and fell in love with magic.

By age 14, he was performing sleight-of-hand magic in the showrooms of Waikiki, side by side with the best magicians in Hawaii.  He gained experience performing for children’s birthdays, corporate events, cocktail and dinner parties, graduations, award banquets, movie premiers, weddings, bars, and restaurants.  Somehow he found time to study enough to get into college.

He has often said that magic is a wonderfully unique performing art, and can be a vehicle for developing confidence, poise, and public speaking skills.  In the 1990s, he was instrumental in developing a formal magic educational program at Punahou School.  He continues to teach there each year.

Doc Fleming now lives in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He is triumphantly married to his childhood sweetheart, and is the overflowingly proud father of a fine, strapping young lad.  In real life, he is an Emergency Physician.
